Perfume Glossary: Anne Klein I - Beautiful

We're continuing a look at the designer fragrances that we sell in our perfumes, soaps, lotions and more! While the descriptions are of the original perfumes designed by their respective manufacturers, we encourage you to try your favorite in our formula, made with the same quality and care!

Anne Klein I. The first perfume offered from Anne Klein is a white floral. Launched in 1984, Anne Klein I's top notes of aldehydes, galbanum, bergamot and at it's heart is jasmine, orchid and fruit. It a very refreshing perfume, feminine and best for daytime wear.

Anne Klein II. This is a fragrance that can't be purchased new in its original form. Anne Klein II, launched just a year after it's debut perfume, was created by Yves Tanguy. It's top notes are peach, rose and lemon, much different than the white floral notes of the original. But at it's heart, like I is jasmine. It's a sweet (with vanilla), inoffensive scent perfect for the office.

Armani Code. Code from Armani was introduced in spring 2006. Code is perfect for a romantic night with someone you care about. Sexy, fresh and feminine, Code is a blend of blood orange, ginger and pear sorbet, for a truly unique scent. Code is alluring with notes of lavender honey, vanilla and precious wood.

Attraction. Attraction is a perfume from Lancome, developed in 2003 by Daniela Andrier and Christian Biecher. Attraction is a floral, sophisticated fragrance perfect for any romantic evening. Attraction is a luxurious blend of woody and floral fragrances. It's notes include iris and patchouli. Iris is one of the most elegant ingredients, and the most costly, with specialized care. Top notes of gardenia and heart notes of orange blossom, jasmine and base notes of cedar and musk, among others, combine with iris to created a unique scent.

Bal à Versailles. Bal à Versailles was first launched in 1962, making it one of the oldest perfumes that we offer. It's stood against increasing competition over the decades because of it's soft, sweet spices. Created by Jean Desprez, lower notes of musk create an enticing fragrance that is best worn in the evening. It's the perfect perfume for a night at the opera, or a dinner party with friends.

Beautiful. Beautiful from Estée Lauder is marketed as the “fragrance of a thousand flowers.” A thousand might be a stretch, but Beautiful, developed by Evelyn Lauder was meant to be a fragrance that stood out. Beautiful is a feminine and rich blend of rose, lily and orange flower. It's not a bright citrus undertone with warm woods. If you're looking to make a splash Beautiful is the perfect choice.
